The birth of this cheese is for tradition in Basilicata, in the resort of Moliterno. Today, however, most of the production takes place in Sardinia.
Serving suggestions: It can be used to accompany menus featuring truffles, to make delicious bruschetta, or melted on toasted homemade bread. It can also be used to flavour baked pasta dishes.
