Trifulò cheese is produced in Piedmont.
Its production is simple. The milk is heated, and then vegetable rennet (Cynara cardunculus) is added to create the “cagliata” and create the forms. In this cheese a precious blend of truffles is added, and the forms are left to ripe for a minimum of 60 days. It has a captivating and unique flavor.
It is usually paired with a medium bodied red wine and bread. It is eaten in cubes and during “aperitivo”.
This is a pre-order cheese and waiting period to receive it is approximately 2 weeks.
A rich and thick honey, where the base is prestigious acacia honey, and truffle is the addition to their beautifully infused, flavourful honey.
