Pushal saffron is a type of saffron that includes not only the red stigmas (like Negin and Sargol saffron) but also a small portion of the surrounding yellow style. It is of lower quality than Sargol saffron, but still considered as a premium quality. Buffalo Mozzarella DOP 200 gr x 10 pcs – 2 kg bucket

Buffalo Mozzarella DOP is produced with the milk of domestic Italian water buffalo, specifically Campania, and it bears the POD certification.

Buffalo mozzarella has a porcelain white color and is known as the pearl of the table. It’s a flavorful fresh stringy textured cheese with a very thin rind. When you cut into it its delicious white milky liquid seeps out. Buffalo milk is higher in calcium and protein, and lower in cholesterol than cow’s milk – making this product a healthier alternative over a regular mozzarella.

Fresh buffalo mozzarella should be eaten alone, or it can be part of many recipes including toppings on pizza and sandwiches. If kept in the fridge, it should sit for at least 20 minutes at room temperature before being served.

This is a pre-order cheese and waiting period to receive it is approximately 2 weeks.

  • Fresh Cheese

Buffalo Mozzarella DOP 250 gr – 8 pcs per box – 2.5 kg box

Buffalo mozzarella is produced in Campania. The buffalo milk, collected every morning at 3 am at the buffalo farms, is brought to the Dairy and is discharged into large circular tanks. Here, the milk is heated up to a temperature of 35-45 degrees. Then rennet is added. After about 30 minutes the cheesemaker makes a first break of the curd, making a cross on the surface with a knife. After about three / four hours of maturation, the curd grows into a uniform and elastic mass, which will then be spun with hot water. Boiling water at 100 ° C is poured into the spinners. Their content is then mixed with a stick, leading to the formation of a uniform paste (‘filatura’, ‘spinning’). Then the forms are created and salted.

It could be eaten on its own or with tomatoes or ham.

This is a pre-order cheese and waiting period to receive it is approximately 2 weeks.
